Shimmery knit cardi

Here I am back with another project. How have you been? This summer I had to buy fabric for some family projects and this shimmery knit fabric caught my eye …Maglia lamé Dario I have never been much of a shimmery or glitter person but I guess my preferences are ever evolving. I envisioned a knit cardi and for a mere 3.5 $/3 euros I had to have it.

Quando l’ho vista ho immaginato un cardigan e per soli 3 euro al metro non ho resistito.

I made this pattern twice before so it was a fast project. Check out my previous White cardi and a colorblocked cardi versions. Unfortunately, as I came to finish it I discovered it had unraveled at the neckline… it’s just a thin line but enough to be visible…so after getting quite annoyed and mending it, I added this crochet trim I happened to have lying around…not exactly what I envisioned but not too bad either.

In passato ho cucito gia’ questo cartamodello due volte quindi c’e’ voluto poco tempo. Potete vedere le altre versioni in bianco e bicolor. Purtroppo mentre stavo terminandolo ho scoperto una smagliatura sul collo…era solo una riga ma visibile…quindi dopo l’arrabbiatura, l’ho riparata e aggiunto un nastrino all’uncinetto che avevo in giro…non esattamente quello che avevo in mente all’inizio ma alla fine non male.
