After making a summer version, I was really looking forward to making a Sewaholic Alma blouse for winter. I wanted a somewhat dressy top that would be easier to iron than a shirt! It was freezing when I took these pictures the other day…these were the best that came out from the shoot…sorry!

Dopo aver cucito la versione estiva, non vedevo l’ora di fare una invernale del Sewaholic Alma. Volevo un top leggermente elegante che fosse piu’ semplice da stirare che una camicia! Si moriva di freddo quando ho fatto le foto…queste sono le migliori…scusatemi!

This fabric was a left over from an early project…a sheath dress I still love and wear. I decided to go for an exposed zipper to jazz things up…I didn’t sew it perfectly but it was too late to change it! Warning: If you want to add a short exposed zipper, you will still need to add a side zipper as foreseen on this pattern or you won’t be able to take it on and off.

I really like this top…the fit is just right and I am using it as a sloper for my funnel neck top I’ve been working on.

Questa stoffa mi era rimasta da un vestito che ho fatto tantissimi anni fa… un tubino che continuo ad indossare perché mi piace molto . Ho deciso di rendere il modello più divertente aggiungendo una lampo esposta… non e’ perfetta ma era troppo tardi per sistemarla. Un avvertimento: se volete aggiungere una lampo corta come la mia, dovrete comunque aggiungere una lampo laterale come previsto nel cartamodello…o non riuscireste a indossare il capo.

Mi piace molto questo top…la vestibilita’ e’ perfetta e infatti lo sto usando come modello di partenza per il top con collo a vulcano su cui sto lavorando in questi giorni.
