The fabric is a poly crepe from Ribes y Casals. Every time I enter their store I walk out with amazing bargains.
La stoffa è del crepe sintetico di Ribes y Casals. Ogni volta che ci vado esco trovo delle occasioni fantastiche.
Apart from some stupid constructions mistakes that were totally my fault the pattern is very easy to sew.
My only complain is the sizing! Yes, I am talking to you Burda! I had to take out a whopping 1.5 inches at the sides (6 in total) to make it look like the picture! I also gathered the neckline more than on the pattern.
Tranne per qualche errore di distrazione da parte mia, è un cartamodello facile da cucire.
L’unica cosa di cui mi lamento è la vestibilità delle taglie! Sì, Burda parlo con te! Ho dovuto stringere i fianchi di 4 cm per lato (16 in totale) perché somigliasse alle foto! Ho anche dovuto stringere l’arricciatura.

Per fortuna che Burda fa le taglie grandi e in questo caso si poteva recuperare…se fosse stato il contrario li avrei uccisi davvero!

Sai che anch’io ne avevo fatto una qualche anno fa, non proprio lo stesso modello di Burda, ma uno simile, senza la chiusura dietro pure. L’avevo fatta in batista verde chiaro, era molto pratica per l’estate.
Non preoccuparti che sei in ritardo con il modello, io ne ho alcuni molto più vecchi che vorrei ancora cucire. Se un modello ti piace, non importa quali sono le “tendenze”, il semplice fatto di indossarlo lo rende attuale!
Quanto alle misure di Burda che sono un po’ troppo generose, questo fatto si potrebbe avverare utile nel caso sbagliassi qualcosa: c’è da dove recuperare!

Si’ ormai alle tendenze non ci faccio piu’ caso…metto quello che mi piace e basta. Mi fa sorridere perche’ invece le persone che non cuciono sono molto legate alle tendenze e si preoccupano di mettere capi non di moda 😉
