I have been quietly working on my Colette Crepe. Fitting the bodice has required 4 muslins…Below is version 3.

In the meantime I have cut the fashion fabric and nearly finished assembling the bodice.

In terms of fitting I believe this is not a beginner’s pattern…despite not being a novice I still has fitting issues…

In queste ultime settimane ho lavorato al modello Crepe di Colette. Ho fatto 4 modelli di prova per il corpino…quello che vedete e’ il numero 3.

Nel frattempo ho tagliato la stoffa vera e quasi finito di cucire il corpino.

Per quanto mi riguarda le modifiche necessarie rendono questo modello non facile per una principiante…anche se cucio da un po’ ho chiaramente dei problemi quando sono necessarie modifiche!

Non sapevo bene come eliminare le righe sulla spalla. La pince sul seno e’ ok ma devo stirarla meglio.

Ah, non mi sentivo a mio agio a pubblicare il mio ombellico sul web quindi l’ho coperto velocemente!

On the final version moved the back dart…that was pointing outwards. I found a comment by Sherry suggesting this to another person.

Nella versione finale del modello ho spostato la pince posteriore che puntava verso l’esterno e creava quella piega. Ho trovato un commento di Sherry che suggeriva di fare questa modifica per un problema simile

Don’t you ever wish you could step out of your body and fit yourself? Though I considered making my own double (no pun intended!), I believe the best would be to have a professionally fitted bodice and start sewing from there.

Non vi viene mai in mente di uscire dal vostro corpo per correggere i problemi di vestibilita’?  Ho pensato di fare una copia di me stessa ma credo che il modo migliore sarebbe avere una sarta che corregga dei modelli di base e partire da quelli per cucire.
