It was high time I made a gift for my sewing machine. After all without her (must be a she!) I wouldn’t be able to make all the garments and accessories!

She came with a carrying case but it’s not practical to use it when you just need to leave her on the table. And I was getting more and more ashamed of the interim cover: a towel.

Era proprio ora di fare un regalo alla mia macchina da cucire. Senza di lei non potrei mai creare gli abiti e accessori!

Avevo gia’ una valigetta per la macchina ma non e’ pratica da usare quando vuoi lasciarla sul tavolo. E ormai mi vergognavo di coprirla con uno straccio di fortuna.

Did you notice the cute side pockets? I can tell you she is much happier now 🙂
Not to mention the tutorial gives info on how to make it work on any sewing machine…just perfect.

Ci sono molti tutorial di custodie per macchine da cucire ma secondo me quello di Notes from the patch e’ il migliore…

Avete visto che carine le tasche laterali? Vi posso dire che ora la mia macchina e’ piu’ contenta 🙂

E poi nel tutorial ci sono le spiegazioni per adattare la custodia alle misure di qualsiasi macchina…fantastico.

E voi come coprite la macchina da cucire quando non la usate?
