Ready for a new review?  I love this grey cover! Nice change!

The cover pattern is a jumpsuit that you could easily turn into a two-piece pattern. I’m not so convinced about the belt but I guess it adds a bit of dimension to an otherwise very pink outfit ;o)

I really like the blouse!

Il modello della copertina è una tuta ma si potrebbe realizzare tranquillamente come un due pezzi. Non mi convince molto la cintura ma al tempo stesso forse spezza un capo che altrimente sarebbe molto rosa ;o)

La blusa mi piace molto!

This dress has some potential…though I find those bra cups pretty ugly…not to mention that black adhesive bra underneath… sorry but if there’s one thing I hate is seeing a black bra under a white/light see-through top (rant over!). The good thing is those bra cups can easily be omitted from the pattern as they are appliqued on!

Questo vestito ha del pontenziale…anche se trovo le coppe davvero brutte…per non parlare del reggiseno adesivo nero che si intravede…scusate ma se c’e’ una cosa che odio è vedere un reggiseno nero sotto un capo bianco/chiaro e trasparente (finita la lamentela!). La cosa positiva è che le coppe possono essere facilmente eliminate dal cartamodello perche’ sono semplicemente cucite sopra!

This whole outfit is included in this issue…Though I could never wear such pants I think they look cool for a contemporary look…along the lines of Altrove Venezia brand. What I really can’t understand is this side apron. Diana Fontana, who’s featured in this issue, is a contemporary designer so that might explain 😉 Sorry for not being so fashion forward.

Tutti e tre i capi sono inclusi con la rivista…anche se non potrei mai mettere quei pantaloni li trovo adatti ad un look contemporaneo…simile a quello di Altrove Venezia . Quello che non riesco proprio a capire è il grembiule laterale. Diana Fontana, la stilista di questi e altri modelli di questo numero, ha uno stile contemporaneo il che forse spiega la scelta 😉 Scusate se non sono molto all’avanguardia!

This dress is more standard but I find it cute. I especially like the double strap detail.

Questo modello è più normale ma lo trovo carino. Mi piacciono le bretelline doppie.

For me this dress is a big no…unless I remove those side pleats that would make my hips and derriere look even wider than they are!

Questo vestito non fa assolutemante per me…a meno che non elimini le pieghe laterali che farebbero sembrare i miei fianchi e il mio posteriore più grandi di quello che sono!

And without those pleats the green dress would look like this pink one…call me boring, I don’t mind!

E senza le pieghe il vestito verde sarebbe come questo rosa…ditemi che sono noiosa, non me la prendo!

Wax prints seem to be all the rage. In this issue there are a few dresses using this fabric…if you’re considering buying some, it could be a nice way to visualize it.

I tessuti wax sono molto alla moda. In questo numero ci sono vari modelli che lo utilizzano…se state considerando l’acquisto, potete dare un’occhiata per vedere l’effetto.

Now this pleated top is quite nice…however, if you want to make it I would suggest you choose a stable fabric…or you’ll go crazy making all those pleats (says the woman who just finished a nightmare chiffon project).

Questo top a pieghe è carino…ma se volete realizzarlo vi consiglio di scegliere un tessuto ´fermo´…o diventerete pazze a fare le pieghe (disse quella che ha appena finito un vestito di chiffon da incubo)

No weddings or evening balls for me so no need to make a gown…but if you do… I’m just not convinced about the print…reminds me of Queen Elizabeth! If you look at the pattern list below you’ll find another gown.

Non ho matrimoni o feste in programma quindi non ho bisogno di vestiti da cerimonia…ma se ne avete… Non mi convince la stampa…mi ricorda la regina Elisabetta! Se date un’occhiata ai cartamodelli di questo numero troverete un altro vestito.

I have to say it…unless someone tells me otherwise this is a Photoshopped  bum! Or maybe they used my big bum as a starting point for their Photoshopping!

While I said the print on the previous dress was very heavy royal…I kind of like it on this cropped top. I have a strange relationship with cropped tops…I have to confess I used to tie my t-shirts as a teenager…the things you do!

Devo dirlo…a meno che qualcuno non mi dica il contrario questo sedere è stato Photoshoppato! O forse hanno usato il mio sederone come punto di partenza per Photoshoppare!

Anche se ho detto che la stampa mi sembrava pesantemente regale…quasi quasi mi piace su questo top. Ho una strana relazione con questi top corti…devo confessarvi che da adolescente mi annodavo regolarmente la maglietta vita…cosa non si fa!
