Ok from my picture you may think I was on the Summer Sleeping Beauty Sew Along…but believe me this is the best picture of my photo session. In any case my summer has been very sparkly so far!
Here is my official entry The Sabrina Tunic…my first time sewing with quilting cotton. I loved how smooth it!
Trying to choose coordinating fabric has proven more difficult than expected (I was traveling when I bought it…to make the matter worse). The main fabric is Kaffe Fassett Aboriginal Dots in silver.
From the back pictures I realized there are too many wrinkles… I will take more and try without the ribbon tied to see it gets any better…it’s not as noticeable in my previous Sabrina Tunic
Finally some details of the print and a better view of the colors.
I plan on wearing the tunic tomorrow to work…I hope it will make me spark!
By the way…if you like this type of tunic/dress soon Rae will have a similar dress available: The Washi Dress…very tempting!
It’s very cute and very flattering on you. I also like your fabric choices. Isn’t quilting cotton so easy to sew with? As for your closed-eyed photo, you don’t look sleepy but rather like you are enjoying a nice summer breeze on a day full of sparkles 🙂

Hola Silvia!
