While working on my woolen coat, I wanted to make a quick project. I bought this silk/dupioni ribbon on a whim simply because I love green. I didn’t have a project in mind actually… it often happens that I find something I like and then choose a project around it.

Initially I thought of making a belt, but then I wasn’t sure I would really wear it. So, I went for this simple necklace. You have probably seen this style already. I only spiced it up with the little ruffle I created on the side.

I put two tiny hidden snap closures as a quick way to get it on and off.

Ok, I know, it’s not much of a sewing project… I promise to share a “real” one in my next post

I also wanted to show you my labels… I actually had them made a long time ago through Etsy. I have been putting them on all my creations because I feel it gives them a nicer touch… but unless I manage to become faster at sewing I think they will last me for a real long long time ;o)
