Happy New Year! I know I promised to post some makes…but I haven’t taken any pictures…I have at least 4 makes to show you! In the meantime, let me show you the latest La Mia Boutique issue!

Buon Anno! So di avervi promesso le foto delle ultime creazioni…ma non ne ho fatte ancora…ho almeno 4 capi da farvi vedere! Nel frattempo vi faccio vedere gli ultimi modelli de La Mia Boutique!

I don’t get this baggy style at all! Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Non capisco questo stile ampio! Potete illuminarmi, per favore?

I´m not a fan of this fabric but the coat has a nice A-line shape…I know it´s a classic but you could still jazz it up with some funky fabric like Desigual 😉

Non mi piace molto la stoffa ma la linea svasata del cappotto sì…so che è un modello classico ma si può sempre rendere più alternativo con una stoffa un po’ psicadelica…alla Desigual 😉

This top is my favorite from this all issue… it reminds me of a 60s pattern…I’m thinking I could make it in a scuba fabric…the designer says you could wear it as a jacket putting the back at the front…but I’m thinking having those darts at the back would make it look odd. What do you think?

Questo è il mio modello preferito di questo numero…mi ricorda la moda anni 60…potrei realizzarlo con una stoffa in neoprene…la stilista dice che se girata può essere usata come giacchina…ma secondo me le pinces sul dietro non farebbero un bell´effetto…che ne dite?

I’m not a fan of this print and the pattern is something we’ve seen before…but  it seems several designers have it in their collection these days…maybe it’s just a trend…like peplum tops!

Non mi piace molto dal stampa e il cartamodello è simile ad altri pubblicati su numeri precedenti…ma sembra che tutti gli stilisti abbiano un capo del genere nella loro collezione…forse è una moda…come i top con baschina!

I’m still to sew a jumpsuit. Not sure I would like the baggy top on me.

Voglio ancora cucire una tuta…però non sono sicura che questo modello sblusato starebbe bene su di me.

If you are looking for a simple and quick make…maybe to get familiar with your new serger…this could be a nice project.

Se cercate un capo veloce e semplice…magari per provare la nuova taglia e cuci…questo potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

All I can say is…what was the designer thinking? Let’s not forget all La Mia Boutique patterns are from actual garments sold in stores…

L’unica cosa che posso dire e’…a cosa pensava lo stilista? Non dimenchiamo che i cartamodelli de La Mia Boutique sono creati da capi venduti in negozio…

This issue features quite a few plus size patterns I like! Isn’t this coat cool?

In questo numero ci sono molti modelli taglie più che mi piacciono! Non trovate questo cappotto sia davvero bello?

And this knit top is very nice too…though I’d be worried sewing an exposed zipper on a knit!

Anche questa maxishirt e’ molto carina…anche se tremerei a cucire la lampo visibile su un tessuto in maglina!

I’m not fond of mixing prints (read I am lousy at it!) but I love this top with neckline darts…pity you need to look at the tech drawing to see them!

Non mi piace molto combinare stampe (nel senso che sono incapace!) ma questo top con pinces sulla scollatura e’ davvero carino…peccato non si riescano a vedere senza guardare il disegno tecnico!
