Non potrei essere piu’ d’accordo con la descrizione di Style Arc del Cartamodello del vestito Kate: un fantastico e versatile abito a portafoglio – facile da indossare e adatto a tutte le occasioni. Questa e’ la mia quinta versione!

This time I got rid of the waistline tucks by simply cutting out the right-hand front twice. I also lowered the waist as I felt the ties were hitting my ribcage.

Questa volta ho eliminato le pieghe in vita. Per farlo ho semplicemente tagliato due volte il lato anteriore destro del cartamodello. Ho abbassato il punto vita perché trovavo che i lacci arrivassero alla gabbia toracica.

The fabric is a wool jersey knit from Supercut…long gone I’m afraid…I snatched it over the summer.

La stoffa è un jersey di lana preso da Supercut…purtroppo è finito da tempo…l´avevo preso l’estate scorsa.
When making the dress I was worried it would cling to my tights but it actually doesn’t. Very happy!

Quando cucivo il vestito temevo che la stoffa sarebbe rimasta attaccata alle calze…ma non è successo…sono molto contenta!

Another worry of mine is a gaping neckline…using the suggested method of interfacing plus clear elastic I had no issues also with this fabric!

Temevo anche che vista la stoffa avrei avuto problemi con la scollatura…per fortuna usando il metodo indicato (telina e elastico trasparente) non ho avuto problemi.
