Just before Christmas Isabel from La vie en DIY organised a Snood Sew-Along. It seemed to be the perfect way to use up some scraps and keep my neck warm…actually mine are not pricisely winter versions…but I was determined to use what I had.
Prima di Natale Isabel del blog La vie en DIY ha organizzato evento per cucire insieme dei colli. Mi è sembrato perfetto per usare i rimasugli di stoffa e tenere il collo caldo…in realtà le mie versioni non sono del tutto invernali…ma volevo usare le stoffe che avevo.
First up is a snood as in Isabel’s tutorial. Three different fabrics measuring 45×45 cm each (3 fat quarters).
Il primo collo è quello con le misure fornite da Isabel: tre stoffe diverse. Ogni quadrato misura 45x45cm. 
Next up is a snood where I defy fabric weight ‘rules’…that’s what you get when you combine a very stretchy knit with a taffeta-like fabric.
Il seguente è un collo ribelle…ecco il risultato che avete quando unite della maglina molto elastica con una stoffa simile al taffetà.
And finally, here is the easiest version of all. I used up all the left-over fabric from La Mia Boutique Blouse
I must admit I have a hard time mixing and matching fabrics…but I liked the challenge.

I love all of your snoods, but my fave is the duo version — love the mix of two fabric types! I’ve only knit snoods, not sewn them, but what a great way to use up scraps.
