Lotta skirt is a gathered skirt with contrasting folded pockets. The skirt is made using the gorgeous Compagnie M. pattern.
She was originally meant as my proudly handmade skirt for the festive season. I put all my heart, creative juices and materials to make it the perfect skirt. Though I love the skirt, I made the wrong sizing decision. Long story short… I was heartbroken and never got to wear it!
Lotta è una gonna con arricciatura e tasche ripiegate a contrasto. La gonna è realizzata usando il bellissimo cartamodello di Compagnie M.
L’avevo cucita per sfoggiare la mia creazione durante le feste. Ci ho messo il cuore, la mia creatività e i materiali per renderla la gonna perfetta. Purtroppo però nonostante la adori, ho usato le dimensioni sbagliate. Per farla breve…ci sono rimasta malissimo e non l’ho potuta mettere.

The main fabric is a unique woolen Armani fabric (I had stashed it away for that special project and I don’t have any more, I am afraid). Its black background is filled with tiny grey rectangles. The pockets are finished in a silver grey taffeta. Lotta features matching handmade self-covered buttons.

La stoffa è una lana esclusiva di Armani (l’ho tenuta da parte per un capo speciale e purtroppo non ne ho più). Lo sfondo nero è riempito di piccolissimi rettangoli grigi. Le tasche sono realizzate il taffeta color argento e rifinite con bottoni ricoperti a mano da me con stoffa coordinata.
The back won’t go unnoticed: it features a gorgeous exposed sparkly glitter lurex zip I bought specifically for this skirt.

Il dietro non passerà inosservato: trovate una bellissima lampo brillante in lurex che avevo comprato proprio per questa gonna.
The skirt is fully lined with silver grey taffeta.

La gonna è completamente foderata in taffetà color argento.

 

 

Eventually Lotta found a new home! So happy for her!

Alla fine Lotta ha trovato una nuova casa! Sono contenta per lei!
