Sono una Principessa…Questa cartolina mi piace tantissimo…purtroppo è uno di quei testi che risulta carino in francese ma se lo traduci perde…incredibile, eh? Adoro le lingue per questo motivo!
This pattern is a variation of a variation! It Robe is a dress based on Aime Comme Mulpep.
As you can probably guess from the tech drawing, it´s quite easy to make. You may even have a similar pattern in your stash already and can do it right away… if you like it, that is.
Quick tutorial:
- Even out your front pattern piece
- Draft a rectangle measuring 78 (80,82,84) by 25 for the peplum (measures for sizes S-LL)
- Don’t sew the darts
- Sew the shoulder seams
- Sew the facing
- Sew the sleeve caps
- Gather the peplum front and back, and sew it to the bodice
- Sew the sleeve and side seams at once
- Hem the peplum by turning 1.5 cm twice
- Hem the sleeves by turning 0.5 cm twice

Come potete immaginare guardando il disegno tecnico, questa variazione è semplice da realizzare. Magari avete già un modello simile e, se vi piace, potete realizzarlo immediatamente usando quello.
Veloce spiegazione
- Eliminare la punta della pince ritracciando la curva
- Disegnare un rettangolo che misuri 78 (80,82,84) x 25 (misure per le taglie S-LL rispettivamente)
- Omettere le cuciture delle le pinces
- Cucire le spalle
- Cucire la paramontura
- Cucire il giromanica
- Arricciare la parte bassa davanti e dietro e cucirla al corpino
- Cucire le maniche e i fianchi in una sola volta
- Fare l´orlo della parte bassa ripiegandolo di 1,5 cm due volte
- Fare l´orlo alle maniche ripiegandolo di 0,5 cm due volte

I am very happy to finally have a mustard garment in my closet. I realized, it looks better against my skin if I wear it with a black necklace…but I didn’t want to cover up the neckline and decided to show you the pattern instead!

Ecco il dietro. Ho cucito la taglia S. La stoffa che vedete è Léger comme une plume (Leggera come una piuma) in senape.
Sono contenta di avere finalmente un capo senape. Mi sono resa conto che sta meglio su di me se la indosso con una collana nera…ma non volevo coprire la scollatura ed ho optato per farvi vedere il modello!
Recentemente sono un po’ indietro con la lettura dei blog…Cosa avete fatto di bello?

Marie e´ un genio per tutte quelle decorazioni…hai visto i tatuaggi che ha creato da poco? In questi giorni poi sarei andata al suo atelier per fare le foto di natale…aveva l´aria fantastica! Con questa passione per il cucito mi viene ancor piu´ voglia di viaggiare!

Thanks Evie. You should see that fabric in grey! Well, actually I also love the white version! What I love about those patterns is that you can finish a project rather quickly! Something I am still not used to. I think it´s even quicker than going shopping!
