Certainly Colette’s Sorbetto pattern doesn’t need any introduction nor details…So I thought I could share some crazy pictures of me while wearing it.

Sicuramente il top Sorbetto di Colette non ha bisogno di dettagli ne’ di presentazioni… Cosi’ ho pensato di farvi vedere delle foto un po’ pazze di me.

I decided to use the same fabric as for the Japanese top…just as an experiment to see if changing pattern would also change my perception on the fabric.
The verdict is: Yes…to some extent. The pattern design can make the fabric even more hideous…though I still think the shade of pink is not the best on me!
What’s your view? Does the pattern choice affect the perception you may have on the fabric?

Ho usato la stessa stoffa del top giapponese…un esperimento per vedere se modificando il modello la mia opinione sulla stoffa sarebbe cambiata.

La risposta e’: Si’…in parte. Il modello puo’ peggiorare la percezione della stoffa…anche se penso che quel rosa non sia proprio il massimo su di me.

Cosa ne dite:  scegliere il modello sbagliato puo’ far cambiare la percezione che si ha sulla stoffa?

Like many said the pattern runs big and is short. What you see here is size 2 shoulder/armscye, size 0 side seams and size 4 hemline plus full seam allowance added.

Come hanno detto molte, il modello e’ abbondante e corto. Qui vedete la taglia 2 di spalle e giromanica, 0 ai fianchi e 4 per l’orlo a cui non e’ stato tolto il margine di cucitura.
